Violence is a part of everyday living. Some children live with regular violent actions in their neighborhood, others only experience it through the media and video games. Violent actions are also an outgrowth of anger which takes control of a child who lacks anger management skills. For children to avoid using violent behaviors they need exposure not only to ways to prevent violence but also to a standard of living such as character education that will allow them to develop traits that will eliminate the possibility of accepting violence as part of their personal behavior.
