SOMETHING SCARY Happened to Me & CD Help kids who have experienced or witnessed a traumatic episode including: physical abuse, school or gang violence, accidents, homicide, suicide, and natural disasters. This program consists of a work/activity book as well as a comprehensive counselor’s guide. Through the use of the activities, the child will have the opportunity to express the turmoil they have been feeling as well as the effects it has had oh his/her life. The counselor’s guide contains detailed presentation information and talking points for each activity as well as additional resources including common reactions to trauma and tips for parents.
