Day after day the children in Miss Fox’s class squabble and tired of their behavior, she declares Peace Week.
That meant no squabbling for one whole week. That also meant, in addition to not squabbling, no fighting and not saying mean things to each other. Could they do it? It was hard because every time one of the classmates wanted to behave as usual, he or she was reminded that this was Peace Week and they could not behave as usual. What the little animals found out was that it was easy to help others, take turns, and say nice things even when someone was grumpy to them. In fact it worked so well, that the class decided that every week should be Peace Week.
