When a small group of bullies started picking on Ray, the other kids didn’t know what to do. They knew what was going on was not okay, but did not know how to stop it.
When the bullies pull Ray from a group he is playing with, one boy realizes that watching Ray get hit and called names was not OK and something had to be done. He told the story to the teacher who notified the principal and the next day the bullies were caught on the playground. Their parents were brought in and the students learned that it was necessary to work together to make it bullying end. Included is an informational note that tells some of the techniques that can be used to prevent bullying.
