Teasing is a common behavior found in elementary schools. Hardly a class exists in whichno one is singled out and made fun of. Nah! Nah! Nah! provides leaders who hope to eliminate teasing with a variety of necessary materials.

It can help individuals who live in fear and misery because their lives are dominated by others who are teasing them in school or at home. It can also help the teaser to become aware of the pain he/she is causing. The book is divided into three sections:

Teasing Awareness (eight lessons)

Dealing with Teasing (ten lessons)

Individual Planning (a section of information and worksheets)

This variety of lessons allows leaders to pick and choose the lessons most needed for their group. Each lesson includes a detailed lesson plan plus one or more reproducible activity sheets for the students. An example of a lesson in teasing awareness would be the topic Why People Tease. This lesson provides the students with a written handout that explains seven reasons why someone becomes a teaser. It also includes a reproducible information sheet that gives examples of teasing, then identifies the reason for the behavior. This versatile book can be used in classrooms, small groups, or with individuals.
