Need a new approach for teaching manners? Manners Bingo is the answer! Using bingo cards that incorporate polite sayings and incomplete sentences, students are constantly reminded of polite language and are challenged to use it when completing the sentences.
When presenting the game, call out the cards exactly as they are written, leaving incomplete sentences incomplete. When a student calls out bingo, have the student repeat the squares that are covered, completing any incomplete sentences. Players can not win if they can not express polite language by completing the sentences. This game not only familiarizes students with politeness, it also gives them experiential practice in using it. Packaged in a zip lock plastic bag for easy storage.
