Each year counselors are faced with one or more grief issues and each situation has its own unique components. What worked in the previous situation will not necessarily work in the next.
This book is divided into three sections: children's formats (ages 5-8), preteen formats (ages 9-12), and teen formats (ages 13-18). In each section, counselors can choose from a variety of opening activities designed to promote discussion and main activities that involve a specific topic or theme.
At these sensitive times, counselors want to provide for children the most comforting experiences. Being able to pick and choose from a variety of activities will give you this opportunity.
