Heavily illustrated with very little text, readers and listeners get the message through the expressions of the illustrated characters.

It begins with a young boy selecting a hat from a shop. Proud of his purchase, he leaves the store and begins walking to the park. Enter the bully who makes fun of his hat. Confidence shaken, he sits on a bench and meets up with a group of children, all with different hats. When the bully picks on everyone they decide to compliment the bully on his hat and teach the bully that being complimentary wins friends.

This write-your-own-script book can be fun to use as children must become involved and not be passive listeners to a story.
