A poignant video dealing with the ramifications of bullying and lack of adult understanding.
Nathan’s day to day existence is one of being bullied in the bathroom, halls, and on the school bus. When he turns to teachers for help their lack of understanding provides no help. Depression takes over, and it is obvious to the viewer that suicide is becoming an option. Throughout the video Nathan says very little, but his body language and behavior makes it easy for the viewer to relate to the pain he is experiencing. He does not commit suicide, but text at the end of the video tells of the real threat suicide poses each year to children who are in situations similar to Nathan’s. Includes study guide.
